The staff of the stage play adaptation of Osamu Akimoto's KochiKame police comedy manga and the
2016 No.27 issue of Shūeisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine unveiled visuals of the play's main cast in costume. The visuals reveal five new characters original to the stage play. In addition, the staff also announced the rest of the play's cast.

The play will run from September 9 to 19, 2016 at Tokyo's AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo, and from September 23 to 25, 2016 at Osaka's Sankei Hall Breeze.
